Mobile App - Engage Hudson

The City of Hudson has launched Engage Hudson, a new mobile app designed to allow users greater access to Hudson services through IPhones and Android phones. Now users can submit service requests through the app, and those requests go directly into the City's work request system. This means service requests will be responded to quickly and efficiently, and the user be notified the instant the problem is resolved! Engaging citizens in the City's work process will help keep Hudson safe, clean and vibrant.

Through Engage Hudson, residents can report a pothole, report problems with streets or sidewalks and notify the City of other service-related issues. It's quick, easy, and includes GPS mapping and the ability to upload photos of the problem from a Smartphone. Don't have a smartphone? Simply visit the Hudson's website home page at and click on "Report It!" The same, convenient work request submission is available on the City's website.
Once the request is in the system, users will be notified as the problems are addressed and completed. In fact, anyone can visit the City's website and view the submitted, reviewed and completed requests in real time.

"Smartphones have transformed the way we live our lives so it is imperative that Hudson use the latest technologies to make it easier to engage our citizens and solve problems," said City Manager Jane Howington. "This is all part of our ongoing effort to make information, data and services transparent and available to all our citizens. It is just one of a number of future technologies we hope to add that will encourage citizen engagement in our local government."

Some of the unique features of Engage Hudson include:
-A modern, streamlined user interface - making it easy to submit customer service requests;
-GPS mapping, including map-based selection of the service location;
-The ability to easily upload a photo along with the customer service request; and
-In-app notifications when a service request has been completed.

The Engage Hudson phone app also offers quick access to City news, key seasonal service programs, social media pages and other information. While we will strive to review all requests within one business day, Engage Hudson is not intended to be used for emergency services or for situations that need action immediately. Always dial 9-1-1 in an emergency or call the 24/7 emergency numbers for reporting power outages or other critical service situations.

To download the app, visit your phone's IPhone or Android app store by clicking the images below and searching for "Engage Hudson." Once the app is downloaded, you can sign up to access the app through your Facebook account, or hit "Skip" at the top of the page and go directly to the app content.
